Dieter Villinger

Born in 1947 in Bad Bergzabern, Germany, lives and works in Munich, Germany

1968 – 19671 Studied visual communication in Basel, Switzerland and Darmstadt, Germany

1971 – 1977 Studied painting at the Akademie der bildenden Künste, Munich, master pupil of Günter Fruhtrunk

1978 – 1979 Post-graduate grant from DAAD for one-year sojourn in New York City, USA

1985 Grant for Fine Arts from the City of Munich

1980 Fine Arts Prize of the City of Salzburg, Austria
